WEAR LITTLE & BE COMFORTABLE
It’s not about looking cute, although the more you do it, the cuter you get! The less you wear for your practice, the more comfortable you will be. More skin exposure allows for more sweat to evaporate, keeping the body cooler. Less fabric around the body allows for greater range of motion. Yogagroove is not a beauty pageant, and we don’t care about your cellulite or your beer belly. Wear skimpy, stretchy yoga clothes. Your body will thank you for it.

A note to our lovely gentlemen: Those long, baggy board-and-basketball shorts you love and wear are doing you a great disservice. They get in the way during Triangle, they hold in so much heat, you’re constantly having to shift them around, pull them up, etc., and they don’t always offer enough (ahem) support, which means you’ve got to shift other stuff around, too. Be the brave, strong handsome Yogi you are! Wear yoga shorts! Just ask Wayne, our fearless King of Yogagroove, how much better practice is in them. And don’t worry, you won’t look like some Euro on the beach somewhere. Our beautiful instructors will give you lots of reassurance.

WEAR CLOSE-FITTING & COVER THE BITS UP
Ironically, the tighter the clothing, the more it covers. Loose shorts are more revealing than bikini bottoms.
