| Molly: As a recent Texas transplant, students keep asking me, “Why did you move here from Hawaii?” One word suffices as an answer: Yogagroove! After teaching at two of Oahu’s fantastic small studios, I wanted the experience of working with the challenges and diversity of large class sizes. Already I have been learning and teaching in equal amounts. Having the guidance of amazing teachers like Wayne, Lisa, and Rebecca makes me feel certain I made the right choice to call the Lone Star State home. |

I fell in love with Bikram Yoga during my first week of classes. Years of working as a Certified Nursing Assistant left me with constant lower back pain, which was cleared up after a few weeks of yoga. I had never experienced anything as powerful as Bikram Yoga. I began practicing several times a week, and could feel and see the changes it made to my body almost immediately. I loved the challenging approach the teachers used, and I soon began considering attending teacher training. Ultimately, I decided to become a teacher because I felt a strong desire to understand the poses on a deeper level, and to promote Blkram Yoga as an astounding tool for self-healing. In my time practicing at various studios, I have seen people be able to get off of their heart and diabetes medications. I consider this to be nothing short of miraculous, and am blessed to be a part of this beautiful system that empowers people to live in good health. |
